360 campaign for the 2014 ‘Stan is Back’ global release of the adidas Originals Stan Smith.


The Stan Smith’s original white leather upper and green heel-tab is a globally recognised icon of adidas Originals.

SEEDING

Shoe boxes and packaging materials were rendered in Stan Smith colours with visual references to the shoe’s perforated three-stripes and signature tongue graphic. Custom models with personalised tongue graphics

OOH

Billboard campaigns demonstrated the Stan Smith takeover through dominating large-scale advertising, accompanied by a ‘Stan’s Back’ viral poster campaign.

SOCIAL

A unified visual identity was applied across social media channels, led by the ‘Stan’s Back’ tagline and accompanying #StanSmith hashtag.

INTO 2015...

Continuing on from the 2014 ‘Stan is Back’ campaign Superimpose wanted to stay consistent to the trainer’s clean aesthetic. The lead messaging to be conveyed was that ‘Stan Smith is the #1 white trainer on the market’, hence the bold lead copy: ‘For Every Court’.

The campaign assets were created to work across all platforms – social, Ecomm, retail, OOH and PR. Eighteen markets bought into the campaign which led to multiple store fronts and events showcasing the Stan Smith assets.
